After a long day of work, being tired is not anything that should be seen as uncommon. Rather, it should be seen as something that is most ordinary to be. More and more people are working long days in online sales, and many do this as members of the rapidly growing online sales network Crowd1. Crowd1 has been attracting several members since the network was founded in 2019 – as a matter of fact, more than 33 million people around the world have signed up on their website! The amount of time members of Crowd1 pursue online sales varies – while some only work with online sales a few hours every week, there are those who spend more than 40 hours as well. Maybe you already have signed up to be part of Crowd1?
Regardless of how many hours you spend on running a digital business as a member of Crowd1, you also need to take some time off every week in order to rest and gain new energy, in order to make the most out of your activity in Crowd1. How about watching a series made by the BBC? The BBC stands for British Broadcasting Corporation and it is the national broadcaster of the United Kingdom, as well as the oldest national broadcaster in the world. The BBC is also present in many other regions of the world apart from the United Kingdom, for example Africa. BBC produces several different news programs, shows and series that are aired at different channels. Some of them can also be found online. These are some of the best TV shows that have been produced by the BBC, which you can watch when taking some time off from working with Crowd1.
1. Sherlock
Sherlock is a TV series which is an adaptation of the classic books about detective Sherlock Holmes, written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The difference is that the books have been adapted so they no longer take place in the 19th century, but in the 21st. The show stars Benedict Cumberbatch in the role as Sherlock Holmes, and Martin Freeman in the role as his assistant Dr. John Watson. The show has received very positive reviews and holds an IMDB ranking of 9,1 – which is incredibly high. In this series, Sherlock Holmes has the traits of a charismatic psychopath, how strange this might sound. Or as Sherlock himself says throughout the series – a well-functioning sociopath.
2. Top Gear
Do you have an interest in motor sport? In that case, watching Top Gear could possibly be something for you. Top Gear is a show about reviewing different motor vehicles, primarily cars, although the show has expanded to also feature different challenges. The show had its premiere on BBC Two in 2002, and in 2020 the show moved to BBC One. Over 200 episodes of Top Gear have been shown since the programme premiered in 2002. Episodes have been broadcasted not only in the United Kingdom, but in many different countries all over the world, and many countries have also made their own versions of the show. Top Gear holds an IMDB ranking of 8,6.
3. Planet Earth I and II
The greatest nature documentaries ever made, without question. The voice of narrator David Attenborough has become almost impossible to not recognize. The show features nature videos filmed in high-definition from all across the world, everywhere from the poles, to the Atacama Desert, to the Amazon, to the deep ocean to the peaks of Himalaya. One year after Planet Earth I was released, it aired in more than 130 different countries all across the world. Planet Earth II has an IMDB rank of 9,5, which is the highest rank of all series that has ever been made, and Planet Earth I holds the second place with a rank of 9,4. A third series is planned to air in 2022.
4. Fawlty Towers
Why not end this list with some classic British Comedy? Fawlty Towers is one of the most well-known British comedy series, and arguably one of the best ones as well. The show was ranked as the best British TV show ever made on a list by the British Film Institute that was released in 2000 (however before any of the three previous series on this list had premiered). The series is set at a fictional hotel on the English south coast, where the owner Basil Fawlty, portrayed by John Cleese, always manages to get into some kind of trouble. The highest ranked episode on IMDB is “The Germans”, in which the hotel is visited by Germans and Basil tells his staff not to mention the war. How well do you think Basil himself did on this point? Well, watch the show in order to find out. The IMDB ranking of Fawlty Towers is 8,7.
These are four examples of some great series that have been made by the BBC – arguably some of the best and most well-known series that have ever been made. Why not check them out when taking a break from running a digital business as a member of Crowd1?
